In general terms, oral translation is called interpretation. Noraktrad has specialized interpreters with a perfect command of both languages, as well as the cultural context of the languages covered in the service.
One or several speakers give an international speech, conference, etc. before a large audience that simultaneously listens to the translation without the speaker stopping.
Performed when the speaker stops to allow what he/she has said to be translated before continuing: press conferences, product presentations, etc.
Similar to consecutive, but the interpreter translates short interventions of the speakers equally into one language or the other: business meetings, company visits, etc.
The interpreter is positioned beside a small audience belonging to the target language whilst whispering a simultaneous interpretation of the matter being dealt with. Chuchotage is used where most of the group speak the source language and only a minority do not.
Necessary when the interpretation must have an official character, i.e. when the translation of the interventions must have identical legal effects in the target language.
