International communications to be pooled

The Norak Group has a new member: the international translation services provider Noraktrad, based in Madrid, has acquired a stake in the German communications agency mediamixx, based in Kleve (Lower Rhine region). “We want to pool communications for our group through mediamixx. We have already been working with this agency for several years, and with great success,” explains Dr Stephan Oeller, founder and CEO of the Norak Group.

Noraktrad has been providing translation services to clients from all over the world for 25 years. From its headquarters in Madrid, the company coordinates more than 4,000 translators, handling more than six million words in around 160 languages every month. The company specialises in technical documents, scientific texts and patents.

Mediamixx has been active in the German–Dutch communications sector for 25 years. Its 14 employees advise German customers setting their sights on the Netherlands, and Dutch customers on public relations in Germany. The agency has been developing the Dutch market for Noraktrad for several years. “We are delighted to have found a strategic partner which will significantly expand its involvement in Kleve in the coming years”, said Frank Wöbbeking, founder and managing director of mediamixx.

Contact between the two companies was established by Jörg Guderjahn, Noraktrad’s sales manager for Germany, who has lived close to Kleve for several years. What’s more, the next step is already planned: the partners in Kleve aim to establish Noraktrad Deutschland GmbH in the coming year.
